We understand and respect all of the time and effort that goes into planning your wedding and we want to insure that all those details get captured just the way you want them. Our company goal is to discreetly record the uniqueness and mood of your special day without being a distraction.
Our staff will consult with you the week of the wedding to go over specific details such as time scheduling as well as getting to know a little about you and your families. Be sure you let us know if there are any special moments that might take place throughout the day that would not be a part of our standard coverage, such as a special birthday or anniversary
If you wish, your videographer will arrive about half an hour before the photographer in order to create a "live" atmosphere. No need to be dressed and ready. In fact, we prefer it if you're not... that way we can capture those "before and after" moments. Please let us know who else will be at the dressing location besides bridesmaids and immediate family.
We arrive one and a half hours before the ceremony to set up equipment. We ask that the groom arrive 35 minutes before the ceremony... the bride 20 minutes before the ceremony.
We will of course respect the rules of the church, temple or synagogue. Depending on the rules and the layout, you might want to consider ordering a second stationary camera for the ceremony coverage. This provides additional footage and interesting angles for our editors to work with.
In order for us to do the best job possible we need to ask a few questions...
- Is the videographer allowed in the sanctuary?
- Will you be facing each other for your vows?
- Is there space behind or to the side of the altar
where a camera can be set up?
- Are there any specific shots you want us to record
before, during or after the ceremony?
If you're going to a scenic location with your photographer for pictures, consider having your videographer there as well. Beautiful settings and romantic poses provide us with the unique footage that can really enhance your video.
Now that the stress of the ceremony is over the fun really begins. Your videographer will be on hand to capture all the spontaneous events as they occur. We'll capture all of the important events such as cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss, etc. Unless told otherwise, we'll also extend an invitation to as many people as possible to record a personal message on your dvd!
